colorstrip dosent work

First im sorry for my bad engslish but i will try to explane as well as i can. I have 4 chauvet colorstrip that dosnt work the way i want them to in showexpress the "audio" choise dosnt work and only the orinary chases work andf the rgb has no effect at all.. i have tryed to search for an awnser but no luck.. when i turn them on they just light up in the pre programed colors and dont respond to sound at all.. And yes the sound activation mode works on the strip when its not pluggd in .. really wierd .. hmm cant think about more info right now but if you need more info i will provide if you what
