The Lighting Controller

I have a set of Color Palettes that I am using as wash for the downstage. The problem is that the first DMX channel actually controls the ammount of DMX channels the fixture occupies. Can you please tell me how to lock this fader or aspect of the fixture so that I dont have to set the fader on this fixture group every time I set up a new scene. In the fixture profile, I've removed all but the range of the fader that gives me six channel only but I need this fixture to STAY in six channel mode.... Can you lock this? Am I missing something

Each new scene in Editor is a copy of the scene "default".
When there is no scene called "default", the new scene is blank.
We suggest you to create a scene called "default" with the required settings.
