Hi,
Is the BETA version a reliable version to be used? Or better wait for the official release?

Re: [beta] Always fade between scene buttons
I have not yet found a problem on it, but I do keep both versions on my machine, and they do read the same files.

How does this work? All I can find is the Live.zip as Beta-version.
Simply download this and run this?
Or is there a complete BETA version that also re-installs all other components?

Re: [beta] Always fade between scene buttons
Just install a fresh installation of the lastest stable release into a new folder (ie ShowXpressBeta) and then extract the updated beta files into the correct folders.

Is the BETA version Windows only?
Or can I also use it on Mac?
Or can I also use it on Mac?
Re: [beta] Always fade between scene buttons
Beta files contain both.
Please unzip it, and you will understand.

How did I miss this? Now I can dump all my custom built attack and delay buttons for all my LED pars? I can't wait to get home to try this out!

Re: [beta] Always fade between scene buttons
I have now played with the feature and though I don't see me using it initially, I do like the concept.
I do agree that I would rather only the dimmer of my RGB and/or RGBWA fixtures be affected. I could also see myself using this as a programming shortcut to any fixture that has a dimmer. Especially for a global GM Fader.
I like the concept overall but I see the quandary of trying to keep the program simple, all while there are those of us advanced users who are looking to do more with the software.

Re: [beta] Always fade between scene buttons
Hi,
What's the plan with regards to releasing the next software update including the developments currently captured in the Beta version?
Looks like I can take advantage of the fade_in and fade_out functionality in a theatre show at the end of January.
Any view on timing? Or better to start using the Beta version providing that it's stable?

Re: [beta] Always fade between scene buttons
We can not give any timing.
We test the beta in our side, and you test it in your side. If somebody finds a bug, we fix it and then we need again some more time for tests (one fixed bug can bring one or more other bugs).
After some time without any reported bug, we decide to make a new version.
However, it is very difficult to find this moment, because we regularely upgrade the software.
