Audio stops when play timeline

WAVEFROM: Ok, I will try that. Even though on Mac it does not seems to display wavefrom but have deselected it just in case.

I have scaled down the show to 10gb more or less... do you have an email I can sent it to?

WAVEFORMS: I can not see them on mac but have turned them of just in case (they were selected). I will try this since someone suggested me to do so. Thank you, will see what happnes...

Our software does not play & decode the media file by itself ; it just asks the OS to play it.
So we suspect a problem with QuickTime and the present Codecs in your Mac computer.

To check that, please try to run all your files straight with QuickTime, and tell us if you still see the problem.

Please, can you also tell us if the TimeLine stops when the audio stops.
If not, you could try with different audio encoding (IE. WAV if your files are MP3)

All files are wav format. The problem is the even if I run them all in quicktime... I dont have a definitive answer... since the problems are not consistant. Some time they happen, another day it works fine...

From all the infromation I got, it looks like the timeline keeps running... lights workand keep on working, just sounds disapears...

Is it possible that leaving the computer onattended could cause this problem? I thought this was the problem at first so have deactivated sleep timer, screensaver and everything else like that. Yet so far the problem seems to continue...

The shows were we are touching the computer because of pauzes in timeline and to do other stuff... it does not seem to happen... at least not that I have been informned of. Is this possible? So far it is just speculation...

I have converted all .wav files to .mov files... that seems to be working... but to little data to know 100 procent for sure...
