faders usage on a mac with showxpress

am on a mac using xpress vers 6.33

my master fader controls nothing no matter if in the 4 master fader or 1 master fader mode.

any ideas? i was sent a patch for this a while back but after changing computers it does not seem to work any longer.

my goal is to possibly use the 4 master fader mode to use for fading a whole board of scene buttons if possible

Please use version 6.333 + beta files (http://download.thelightingcontroller.c ... ware/beta/).

i was unaware that this post made it up, sorry.

so i just unzip these files from your link and drop them into the folder in applications then?

this did not seem to work the last time since i upgraded my computer recently.

maybe just a clear set of instructions to just make sure i am not doing something incorrectly would be best too.

Each ZIP file contains both the Windows and MacOS applications.

1. uninstall (Windows) or remove (MacOS) the existing software
2. install the new software
3. locate the application in the software, and replace it by the application from the ZIP file (from same OS)

ok so i need to fully uninstall showxpress and then reinstall the whole program and then replace the updated files from the link?

i cannot just remove the Live, Editor etc from the currently installed version.. correct?

You can do both.
But we suggest 1. 2. & 3.
