Fading scenes throw a theatre show
Re: Fading scenes throw a theatre show
There may be several options available for your needs. If I understand right you want to fade from one scene to another.
Are your scenes/cues always in the same order? If so then the easiest way would be to set a default scene with all your lights off and use the fade option that Niffi just posted.
Once that's done then take the default screen and make it the scene that you need and name it say cue one, etc. Then pull up the default seen again and make the second scene and name it cue two. Continue doing the same pull up the default scene and make all your scenes as you need naming them what you need.
Insert them into to your live screen. And what should happen is when one scene is up and you press the next scene button all of lights not being used will fade down and the new scene will fade up.
If you are wanting one scene to fade down at 10 seconds and the next seem to fade up at five then you will have to program a scene up and scene down for each cue. You may have to use the macro option in which when the macro button is pressed it turns on the specified buttons, which in your case is a scene down (say 10 sec) and a scene up (say 5 sec).
In case you don't know how to use the macro option select only the two scenes you want Cue one down and cue two up, then insert a macro. Name it so you'll know.
Good luck
