Hi there,
Is there a way to set a lock-function for Live, so you can only click on the page buttons, but it is not possible to make any changes to the page settings?
This is for a fixed installation, where several persons have access to the Live page.
I'm using Remote, with 6.29. (finally, we used the box since 1998 !!)

Re: General "Lock" function
hi there
there is a away of locking the live screen
but not any other
make sure your live screen is how you want it,
1.click on the top left of that window it should say 'live'
2.click on preferences
3.click LOCK SCREEN
3. click admin password and set your password
4. Remember your Password and click apply
now no one can move any buttons or change or delete or even add lighting shows all they can do is use them.
for them to take the look of they must do step 1 and 2 above but can not go any further due to not know the password you have set.
hope this helps.

Re: General "Lock" function [fixed]
Hi Chris,
Thanks ! I tried the "lock screen" function only.
I will also set a password now.

Hi chris,
Setting a password does not make a difference.
I can still make changes (for instance, delete a page).
Best regards,
Johnny
