No USB connection 5 seconds later after power on

Post by pablo@sonovision.es »

Dear friends,

When open the software in my CPU and reopen it, (last version installed), the software doesn't reconnect to the hardware till I unplug the usb and reconnect it.
This only happens when I wait 5 seconds or more before restart the software. If I do it fast It doesn't happen.
When I do the same with my laptop I don't have this problem.

What do you think? What can I check in my usb config CPU?

Best regards

Assuming you are using Windows, check the USB power settings.
Go to 'Power and Sleep settings' in Control Panel
Additional Power Settings
Select Change Power Plan Settings
Click Change power settings on the selected power plan.
Choose change advanced power settings.
Expand USB Settings In the pop-up window
Expand USB Selective Suspend settings
Select Disabled from the drop-down menu and select OK.

Check on both machines to see they are the same.

This may be due to corrupted standalone data (the interface starts playing them around 5 s after power on).
You can try to go in the module "Standalone" and press the button "Erase standalone data".

Caution: if you do that the interface will lose it standalone data ; it is important that you have the original lightshow in your computer to re-upload them.
