Artnet Visualizing with Capture

Hey everyone,

I'm attempting to create a pre-programmed lighting show with ShowXpress, but I don't have the actual fixtures that are going to be used in person, so I want to use Capture to pre-visualize the light show by sending DMX via Artnet. However, I'm having some trouble getting the 2 programs to communicate over Artnet, and keep getting either the "TCP/IP: Artnet listen" error message in ShowXpress or the "network initialization failed" error message in Capture. I'm using the Xpress 512 DMX USB interface, and both programs are running on my Macbook Pro. I used Wireshark to ensure that ShowXpress was sending packets, so the problem is most likely on the Capture side of things. Let me know if anyone else has had this issue or has had this setup working! Thanks!

Please try the option "Do not start Artnet server" in the menu "preferences" > tab "Network".
