Hazer fan working but not volume

Hi, A few years ago I asked for a profile for a QTX Haze3 haze machine profile but it wouldn't work properly. I now have another newer version which still only has the same 2 DMX channels but this time you can control the fan speed but there's no haze volume coming out. I plug it into a small 4 channel controller and it works fine so Do you know why it doesn't work in ShowXpress? I've tried changing some of the icons to different ones in the profile with no luck. Baffled at this point.

Please provide a link to download the manual of this DMX fixture and we will do the correct profile for you.

It should work whatether are the declared channels in our software.

Didn't work I'm sorry to say. In fact it didn't work even on the older model.

Looks like the problem is elsewhere.

Are you able to driver some other DMX equipment with this DMX interface and our software ?

Yes I run two full universes fine. It is odd that the small 4 channel controller I have, which is just 4 sliders works both my hazers fine. It's only when I try to use them with showxpress. And as I mentioned my old Haze3 works with showxpress in that if you turn up the fan both fan and smoke volume come out. The channel to control the volume does not work. With this new haze3 the fan speed is controllable with my old profile but there's no smoke at all. Is it worth me going through every icon to see if one might switch on the smoke? I get that it's just a value but didn't know if there might be one that works?

No. Just moving the faders of each DMX channel is enough.

Please open the window "DMX bargraph".
If you see the red bar moving in this windows when you move the fader in the tab "Steps", this means the DMX channel is moving too.
