Fade in on buttons for moving lights

Post by muscanto »

Is there a reason why fade in on a button doesn't seem to affect moving lights?

I adjust the fade in value on the button that takes some moving lights to a certain position and they still move as fast as possible. Is this normal? I would think the fade in value would affect the pan and tilt channels as well.

Yes.
The fade action affects exclusively the "dimmable" channels.

Can this be changed into a setting that can be switched on and off?

I have movers that don't have a speed control channel and it would be nice to be able to fade them into position.

Understood.
We note "Editable list of dimmable channels" for the new software.

Can version 9 be edited to have a menu toggle to affect movements on fade in and out?

I'm really struggling with this and it's annoying to watch my movers snap back to the LPT scene after have them fade into position. I want them to fade out as well.

After double checking, the fade in/out options fade the dimmable channels and the pan/tilt channels.
