Lighting Controller API

Postby StewartM » 21 June 2022, 19:40

Hi All,

Has anyone had any experience using the Lighting Controller API to remotely trigger lighting scenes in Showxpress/QuickDMX from another software? - http://download.thelightingcontroller.c ... otocol.pdf

I have a new project which requires the use of Interactive technologies Cueserver 2 and as such I’m trying to get the Cueserver to communicate directly with Showxpress to trigger lighting scenes.

Having reached out to Cueserver’s support, they recommend using the CURL command to authenticate against Showxpress’s API but I can’t seem to get it working. It keeps coming back saying error - not logged in when trying to authenticate against it.

Can anyone help?

I don't think you can use curl to communicate with TLC.
You have to use a programming language and open a TCP/IP socket.
