In order to be sure this is only a problem of length, please make the following test: - take the same track - cut it with an audio editing software, to make it less than 10mn (9mn for instance), and save it under another name And tell us if you see its waveform.
Thanks for your reply, i actually did exactly this, and it cut the track in 3 versions, 3min, 6min and 10min. 3 and 6 works but not 10 min. My original track is about 36min. I also tried with different tracks and shorter tracks works fine with waveform, longer tracks not. Not shure if the problem is length of track or size?
After double cheking, the software is presently not able to store/show the waveform of too big audio files. We suggest you to split this file in shorter audio files.
Is there anything new on this old topic? I also have the problem if I have audio WAV files longer than 10 minutes, no waves are displayed. Is there a solution?
The limit comes from max authorised width for the picture of the wave (with zoom max), which is 32000 pixels. To change that, we have to change a part of the TimeLine concept, which means a new major version. Sorry for that. We will of course take of that for the next major software version.
