[Request] Change file behavior

My shows are mostly done with Macro buttons, and changing from v7 to v8 went fine but yesterday I stumbled apon a problem. Movers doing figure8 needed fixing coz inn v7 these are Step files and figured I could change it to a generator file. But this isn't possible todo.
Needed to remove the Step file, add the Generator file. Turn off everything and update the macro. That just doesn't cut it under a ongoing performance.

Why isn't it possible to use the "change file" option and the SW does what it needs todo to allow it to change from Steps -> Generator or vise versa

It is technicaly not easy to replace a scene by another type of scene (imagine all linked parameters).
V7 lightshow auto update to V8 works ; this was indeed a big challenge.
To replace Steps scenes by Generator scenes, you will have to do this manually.
