Connect the external switch #1 to "pin 1" and "COM" to trigger the standalone scene #1.
Connect the external switch #2 to "pin 2" and "COM" to trigger the standalone scene #2
...
Connect the external switch #8 to "pin 8" and "COM" to trigger the standalone scene #8.

Important
In order to avoid bounce, you have to add a 100nF capacitor as close as possible to the switch device.

In case of you need more than 8 external contacts, 8 more are available from an unassembled 2*5 pins connector inside the interface (on the front panel pcb).
