No way to declare the Midi device

This may be due to "Virtual DJ" which captures the Midi device for itself.
So you have to change the setting in the "Virtual DJ" software:
- plug the Midi device
- in VDJ select the menu "Settings -> Controllers"
- select the Midi device and in the mapping drop down list select "Ignore"
