sweetlight rack

Postby mimmomix » 02 September 2013, 09:39

Hi.
I’ve recently bought a sweetlight rack and i’m using it with a mac.
I would you ask some simple points :
1: do exist a way to run continuously a timeline (in loop)?
2: I’ve a laser in which the channel “mode” is normally off at 255 dmx value. So it’s normally on when no dmx signals are send. Do exist a method to change this?
3: do exit a way to sincronize specifics operations with audio signals?
Thank you so much for your help.
regards.

For 1 and 3 i dont know
For 2 there is away
Create a single scene with dmx at 255 leave all other faders disabled (first push new scene button)
Create a single scene with dmx at 0 agian leave all faders disabled
If u make a page with these 2 faders u can turn laser on or off
If u push another scene like were u program the laser to make a cirkel or what ever this button will be overridden
Afterward if this scene is disable the other button will take over and set u laser of

For 1:
Just create a timeline and set the length to the loop you want, and do not put a STOP or END in it.
Create a button in LIVE and press. The timeline will automatically loop.

Hi, I read on manual we have option to connect specifics operations with midi channel.
Basically I use the dmx controller with live music.
Should be (i.e.) an option the possibility to connect specifics operation with db (or I don't know specifics frequencies) in IN.
(Sorry for ..i'm not an expert).

It is still not clear for us.
But regarding live music, our software does not offer "specific operations". An easy solution is to use some scenes with "manual bpm" option (press 2 or 3 times the space bar to change the bpm, and the scene run the steps following this bpm).

Hi Marco,
thank you for your feedback.
Basically that is similar with what i do: in every scene I put this value at 255; but sure your option will allow me to not turn on the laser when no others scenes or timeline are on.
But if in somewhere in "setup" some option allows to invert the value, this problem shuold be definitevly solve.
un saluto.
