RTP Midi/Keyboard triggers

Hello,

Recently, I set up an APC 40 mk2 to control seperate computers, one running ShowXpress for lighting, and another running Resolume for Pixel Strips. I'm using RTP-Midi and ethernet to connect the computers.

Everything works fine as far as that goes, but I noticed that keyboard triggers in Showxpress also seem to trigger scenes in Resolume.

I didn't think to look when I was there, but does Showxpress treat keyboard inputs as midi? I could answer that question for myself by using the midi monitor in Resolume, but alas, I don't have it available at the moment.

Any thoughts?

If you have programmed a midi output message when pressing the button, whatever is the trigger (keyboard, midi, mouse, ...), the button press action will send the midi output message.
