The Lighting Controller

Hi - I am getting back into using ShowXpress after a couple of years not using it. I would be fine using either Version 8 or Version 9 and have an Xpress 512 interface. I'm seeking a clear answer to two questions.
There's a lot of conflicting information on the message board regarding MIDI controllers.
First, does ShowXpress support rotary knobs on MIDI controllers (for example an AKAI MidiMix to control brightness)?
Second, does ShowXpress support multiple MIDI controllers, either 2 of the same or 2 different controllers (AKAI APC Mini x2 or AKAI APC Mini plus AKAI MidiMix if rotary knob support exists).

1) - We do not have a AKAI MidiMix but there is a good chance rotary knobs are supported because the software already supports rotary knobs on the AKAI APC20/40.
2) - Yes the software is able to manage multiple MIDI controllers.
