The Lighting Controller

Ok so looking for help here. I have had Showxpress for awhile and have been doing shows with PC and APC Mini and everything going great. I wanted to move to Mac now because of Virtual DJ. I moved everything over to the Mac and it all works fine EXCEPT now the Mac will not read the APC mini in Showxpress. All the the other programs (Ableton Live, Virtual DJ and the Mac itself) read the APC just not Showxpress. Can someone tell me what it is that I am not doing?
I have enabled both Midi in and Midi out on Showxpress Preferences.

We suggest you to try with an ultra simple lightshow (1 scene only).
Try to trigger the scene with the midi device, and let us know the result.

Any luck with this? APC 40 MK2 isn't reading on a Mac for me either running High Sierra.
