NSI Microplex to DMX

I perform in a group that uses midi to control everything including our light show. The light changes are pre-programmed for each song - so as the midi files play - the lights change.
Our current set-up has been working well - but we are thinking of switching from our existing arrangement which uses Par 64 lights - to LED.
I noticed that NSI makes controller boards that will output Microplex and DMX.
If we purchase one of these light controller boards - will my existing pre-programmed midi light changes still work?
Or would there be another option/method of using my existing gear and converting the Microplex to DMX?
