Is "Mine Modular Controller" compatible ?

Wow, could this work with sweetlight?:

If so, this would be the solution for my extra faders desire :-)

Never tested.
As long as it sends midi messages, it should work with our software.

Exiting, yes, it's a midi controller, so it should work.
i'm gonna buy one (have to find where) and fill it with faders only. :-)
i'll report here if it works fine.
thx.

I double checked and am very excited since Special Waves Team <info@special-waves.com> On 14 dec. 2016, at 15:38 replied my email with:

'Thanks a lot for your interest in our products.
Mine and Mine S will be fully midi working, so I don’t own a sweetlight controller, but I don’t see, after taking a tour, any particular issue of compatibility. I’m pretty sure it will work great
.'

- This is going to be the ultimate modular controller for sweetlight.
Just put in the box what you want and need.

- The pad module and 2 buttons module have RGB blacklighting!
Finished with the yellow-green-red limitation of the AKAI APC mini.

- AND:
'You can also connect one device to the other and build it up as one bigger control surface. The included controller editor can recognize Mine and MineS as a unique control surface.'

PERFECT!

i'm already preparing on 'paper' to make the switch form APC mini to Mine Modular controllers.
On a calculator 21 faders fit in with one matrix left open.
In reality 'only' 20 faders fit with four matrixes left open, see attachment.

Chaining the devices makes a usb hub unnecessary and more modules like faders or whatever wanted are available that way.

One more email reply from the waves team:

"We will launch the Kickstarter's campaign on January and you will be able to pre order our products. Obviously you will be able to buy just what you need. We did Mine and Mine S for fully modular mind, so it shouldn't be this way if I pack for you a bag with modules... You will be free to choose from 6 modules (we'll add a cap - blank module) and to put your modules whatever you want in horizontal and vertical position.
On January i will start this adventure!
"

Best Regards
Special Waves Team
