Ok, what appens in Midi monitor when you are using midi mapping (channel router) on the APC n°2 ??

Nothing changes. How i did the test:

- In Midipipe > APCmini 2 IN > Channel router >. I've set Channel 1 to 4 and saved.
Pushed the upper-left button on APC n° 1 and on APC n° 2.

- Then set Channel 1 to 8 and saved.
Pushed the upper-right button on APC n° 1 and on APC n° 2.

- Then set Channel 1 to 12 and saved.
Pushed the lowest-left button on APC n° 1 and on APC n° 2.

- Then set Channel 1 to 16 and saved.
Pushed the lowest-right button on APC n° 1 and on APC n° 2.

Thanks for your assistance and explaining this.
Clears up my not understanding the system. So for example we can hook up a dozen same type Novation Launchpad's because it's possible to assign each device to it's own ID, as we us to do with light-fixtures.

I'm trying to dig up some Info on how to assign each apc Mini to its own device ID but not coming up with anything yet...

Thanks for the effort.
If not finding how to...

I use 2 Launchpads and a apc mini with MIDI OX on windows...

...I'll switch to 1 launchpad, 1 APC mini and 1 (one or more if possible) controllers like the Omnitronic FAD-9 USB MIDI fader-controller(s).
I need more faders. Just simple faders, nothing else.
That's why i was thinking for up to four or six APC mini's, but not even two possible, if assigning each APC to it's own Device ID isn't an option.

The best way is assign the ID of each APC Mini, of course, as Earl Harvey says.
I already test differents configurations, 2 or 3 BCF 2000 Behringer (easy because of many parameters inside), LC2412 ,BCF 2000 + LC2412, and APC Mini + BCF 2000, each time with Midi Pipe.

I find this : xtreme midi mapping

I will test this with 2 APC Mini as soon as possible ;) !

Thanks for trying out. Have no idea how you think to achieve that with Xtreme mappings for Traktor but i'll give it one more week before i change this second APC mini for a novation launchpad.

i found this, maybe useful:

"Users can even run multiple APC minis in parallel for more versatility".
- See more at: http://www.akaipro.com/product/apc-mini ... 1fh6s.dpuf

In the article above isn't explained how this is possible, but in the article link below it is, as far as i understand:

http://www.akaipro.com/kb/article/1444#q5
quote:
"...you can use up to six APC40s at the same time. In Ableton a red box around the clips is indicated for the first APC40. A yellow box is indicated for the 2nd APC, and so on. Each will show a different colored ring around the clips."

- Ableton software makes it possible it seems.
