I meant on the general midi preferences, this will avoid you to invert on each button ;)

Yes, this is what i was doing yesterday morning... :roll:
So it's possible to avoid that, but i'm still not sure what you mean by inverting them in the Midi Preferences of the software.

Do i have to uncheck the MDI In and Out enable boxes, click apply, and then check them again and click apply again?

Oh yes, that is what i have to do.
With all the hassle and confusion related to my weekly blackout i forgot asking this before and got the answer already...which i didn't remember yesterday morning.

In the Preferences, the number in the column "#" IS the *device* number you can see in the midi settings of each button. AFAIK, uncheking/checking enable boxes is not needed after changing something in the midi Preferences grid.
