Resetting all midi

Postby jcaniford » 17 October 2015, 07:55

Is their a way to reset all the midi channels? IE delete all the ones that have been assigned? I am switching to a new controller and want to just clear all the set midi out to start clean. Possible? other than one at a time?

Hey so what is the status of this being an option? I have seen it as an option in several other softwares that can use MIDI.

Imagine someone who has a 10+ page show that is all mapped, just a basic redo to even be able to update could take a few hours

Thanks for the help and support!

The option to reset the midi and triggers is a must need. Nothing worse then chasing down a scene that has the same midi.

^^^ EXACTLY!! ^^^

Also I liked how a while back you could set multiple buttons/scenes to the same MIDI tigger and now you can not without using a macro which is not preered. Is that something that can be changed back or is doable with the new MIDI functionality just added?

Please note that you now can track this with the function "Export midi triggers" in "Live" => "Buttons" menu.

A release all MIDI should still be an option as tracking down may be easy but resetting 100+ MIDI commands is pretty time consuming!
