Sorry, but I have been away, but I pulled up the definition of midi clock

MIDI beat clock (also known as MIDI timing clock or simply MIDI clock) is a clock signal that is broadcast via MIDI to ensure that several MIDI-enabled devices such as a synthesizer or music sequencer stay in synchronization. It is not MIDI timecode.

Unlike MIDI timecode, the MIDI beat clock is tempo-dependent. Clock events are sent at a rate of 24 ppqn (pulses per quarter note). Those pulses are used to maintain a synchronized tempo for synthesizers that have BPM-dependent voices and also for arpeggiator synchronization. It does not transmit any location information (bar number or time code) and so must be used in conjunction with a positional reference (such as timecode) for complete sync.

Because of limitations in MIDI and synthesizers, devices driven by MIDI beatclock are often subject to clock drift.

MIDI beat clock defines the following real time messages:

clock (decimal 248, hex 0xF8)
start (decimal 250, hex 0xFA)
continue (decimal 251, hex 0xFB)
stop (decimal 252, hex 0xFC)

Here is the link I got the information from - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MIDI_beat_clock

If needed I have used LoopBe Internal Midi program to pull midi information from the DJ program and synchronize the beats across to the lighting software.

Support It would be nice to know if you have any interest in adding midi clock to Showxpress? It is something we have been asking for, for a long time and would like to know if it is ever going to happen. Seems like there are many other lighting software out on the market that provides this feature, it hard to understand what the issue is.

Thank you

Sorry but we are presently busy with other customers requirement which are, in our opinion, more urgent.

It's been 7 months since I last asked, checking to see if there has been any time to work to get midi clock programmed as part of the software?

Sorry, but we do not think we can study this before V9 is ready (no date for V9 for now).

I really do not want to be rude, but that was your response back in version 7 saying it would in 8 and now you are saying you can't because of 9. Why is it so difficult for you to provide what other lighting software providers have in their software?
