Park a Channel/Dimmer/Group at Full

Postby gjemge » 26 April 2024, 03:51

Good evening,

A customer has invested in this software and we are attempting to support their choice. There are DMX addresses within a universe that must be non-dim activated. Meaning, these channels/dimmers/group need to be able to be turned on and then they must not be impacted by anything else (these control relays that energize all moving lights in the system). Is there a way to somehow safety isolate specific outputs to ensure that they are not de-energized? Basically, I am looking for a "Park" function, like that you would find on a normal, non DJ lighting controller.

Thanks for your thoughts,
gjemge

There is no function in our software that could avoid to go in the section "Editor" and fade the channels.
So the programmer person could fade them.

That said, the user person is supposed to never go in the section "Editor" and stay in the section "Live".
In this section, if there is no program to fade these channels, the user could never fade them.
It is possible to lock the software in the section "Live". Then a password is needed to acces to the other sections.
