Message "TCP/IP Listen Error"

Support-

On one of my laptops, I am getting the the Message "TCP/IP Listen Error" on startup.

I have the latest version of showxpress installed. I have disabled the windows firewall entirely, I have tried changing both the UDP and TCP ports, and I have made sure that there are no other programs running in the background on the computer. It's running Windows 7 if that helps.

I went through everything here: https://thelightingcontroller.com/viewt ... =75&t=3708

Any other ideas why I would still be getting this error on startup?

Thanks.

Change software ip to native loopback ip (127.0.0.1).
File > Preferences > Network (tab)
And turn of the stuff you don't use (External App, Virtual DJ, Art-Net)

Post https://thelightingcontroller.com/viewt ... =75&t=3708 updated with the local IP address info.
But this is the default IP address, and there is no reason to change it.
