mac v7.1.0 crashing

Postby joedigitaltv » 24 July 2014, 18:56

i have crashing happening all the time now but especially during programming steps.

i also cannot get any of my master faders to be controlled by an pac 40 even though it works fine with other functions.... when i am in live i go into the settings, click on the master feeder 1 and then learn.... nothing happens no matter what i do..

update.... i get tons of crashes and there is no consistent reason for it.... programming steps, adding scenes to live etc.... all is causing crashes.

please help any ideas.

tom

mac 10.9.4
newest version of Showxpress from site

if i go back to 6.34 can i use the scenes i created in v7 still?

tks

We note that "all is causing crashes" with your Mac computer.
In our side, we do not see that with our Mac.
If other Mac users also see so many crashes, please let us know.

well i find it hard to believe that we are the only mac users having issues....

could you answer the other question in my post please?
can we use scenes created in v7 in the last stable version of 6?

is there a way to send you a crash report of something?

we have reinstalled software multiple times now....

another example is that i make a multi step scene, open in live... all seems fine... then i try to make it a step button... crash immediately.

can anyone with the newest version on a mac provide any feedback on their experiences? what version of mac OS are you using etc.

tks,

I too am having the problems with crashing on my mac. I can only change one thing in "live" before the program crashes.

Please do this:
- install the latest software version (7.1.5 from today), and check if the problems are still there
- if the problems are still there, please post (or email) a ZIP of your lightshow (viewtopic.php?f=3&t=168)
We will check it.

I am the original one to post about mac v7.1.0 crashing. I finally went back and used v6 because it contented to crash. I have downloaded the "latest" build of v7 however when it opens it tells me that there is a newer version available. Not sure where the newer version is.

The version I have continues to crash...
==Often as I am in "generator" and I am saving a project and come out it will crash.
==when I am trying to move or save buttons in "live" it will crash
==also I am having a difficult time keeping DMX connection.

I can send the show or I can send the crash log that mac OSX produces to send to Apple if that will help.

Just looking for answers.

We do not need the log files.
We just need your lightshow, in order to have a chance to reproduce your problem.
