Presently the channels of IntimidatorSoptDuo are (in the best mode for us):
pan1, upan1, tilt1, utilt1, pan2, upan2, tilt2, utilt2, speed1&2, color1, color2, gobo1, gobo2, dimmer1, dimmer2, shutter1, shutter2, control1&2, macros1&2, macro speed1&2
Several existing software are not able to drive efficiently the IntimidatorSpotDuo (our software and some competitors software), due to the channels for head1 and head2 are mixed.
If you dissociate the channels from head1 to head2 like this:
pan1, upan1, tilt1, utilt, color1, gobo1, dimmer1, shutter1, pan2, upan2, tilt2, utilt2, color2, gobo2, dimmer2, shutter2, speed1&2, control1&2, macros1&2, macro speed1&2
This fixture becomes suitable for all existing software. You have to declare 2 different profiles: IntimidatorSpotDuo_part1 (8 channels) and IntimidatorSpotDuo_part2 (12 channels)
The best is dissociate all channels from head1 to head2 like this:
pan1, upan1, tilt1, utilt, color1, gobo1, dimmer1, shutter1, speed1, control1, macros1, macro speed1, pan2, upan2, tilt2, utilt2, color2, gobo2, dimmer2, shutter2, speed2, control2, macros2, macro speed2
This is, in our opinion, the best possible fixture:
- it is suitable for all existing software
- and it needs only one profile: IntimidatorSpotDuo_half_part (12 channels)
So far, the dmx channels order should not really affect the cost (?)
For next multi-heads fixtures, please consider this "smart" dmx channels mode.
