Feedback V7 :D

Postby Lighter007 » 04 April 2014, 16:22

Hi support team!

So first of all: Congratulations on V7! :D
I am very satisfied with Sweetlight.
I like the design anyway.
I also like:
- There are not as many windows open as before.
- The fixture library
- An overview of all devices
- The drivers are still working
- Multi-patching of fixtures

Unfortunately there are still a few bugs in the setup window when setting up of equipment. (Maybe that's already improved in "bug_fix")
Now i´m sure it is fixed

Thank you again for work!
Best regards

What do you mean by "Multi Patching of Fixtures"?

You can patch several fixtures at once.
I really like that:

Hi Sweetlight Team,
I like the new V7 very much, but I have another proposal for the new software: Is it possible to add a fader for the fade time on the live screen? It would be nice to chance the fade time without opening the Live settings.

I support the request! I often need time to fade in / out different and can be easily modified during the show

When you say patching........ Does this mean we will be able to take a scene built for a fixture on channels 1-5 and move the fixture to 10-15 without having to recreate the scene?

@Sound storms Ent.
I don't think so because I think all scenes are based on the Channels and do NOT belong to the fixture and won't be saved with them. Would be a great fixture for some reasons, but I don't think it's SO necessary...

@frabob and yboley: Please open a new thread for this topic, if you want to have this feature in V7.

move the fixture without having to recreate the scene

We know there is a requirement for this, but V7 is presently not able to do this.

Got it. Do you feel this will be done any time soon? Also what about better touch screen access? Only some screens are able to activate flash buttons. I know this is a hardware/driver issue mainly but any ideas of this eventually being a fix?
