Standalone - Ver 8.2.18

I recently updated to version 8.2.18 for a new install of a 512 Plus triggered by remote control for a school. I have used the 512 plus/remote combination in the past with version 6 without issue - creating scenes and loading them from the original control board menu. I see where to load scenes in the new "standalone" page, but when I trigger them they play only for the duration of the scene, where the old version was a static scene of unchanging time unless you built it int steps. How can I get my scenes to either loop or have no end point?
