Absolute path for scene files

Quick question... is this by design that when you add a scene to a timeline it is mapped to a specific file in a specific folder, not a relative path?

I was trying to figure out why none of my timelines were working after I copied my light show to a different directory, and it looks like it is because mapping is to a full path not a relative path.

PS, it would also be nice to be able to show just the name of the file, not the full path on the timeline. The path is so long I usually can't see which file it is.

Cheers,

John

this is interesting... I just noticed that on ome timelines it does not show the path, only the file name. on others it shows the full path...?

The software is supposed to use relative path as long as you save the files in the default folders (or sub folders) of the lightshow.
