Adjust Playhead in Live Timeline with External Input

Post by Stevewestpalm »

Is it possible to send a command into a Showxpress Live Timeline that will scrub the playing position forward or backward based on the input?

For example, a timeline is playing back and is currently at 10s position. Can I send an external command that will make that jump to the 20s postion and continue playing?

Thanks

If I may suggest that, when you need to perform some tweaking on your audio &/or video files, you'd better go the "DAW" route.
Great news BTW; Gibson stopped developing SONAR from Cakewalk, but BandLab just acquired all rights, and is GIVING (yes FREE!) the latest version under the "Cakewalk" name... 8-)
Check here: https://www.bandlab.com/products/cakewalk
Personaly, I just can't believe it... Sonar Platinum was sold around 350 € and now, it's completely free!
But I installed it on some 4 laptops now... and it works just fine !

EDIT: I forgot to mention: of course, you need to go the "MIDI" route as well to be able to trigger events in Sweetlight. And you can achieve this "internally" on the same PC thru some "MIDI loop" like this one.
