Live Buttons do not respond [fixed]

Postby Jaap Veneman » 24 September 2019, 20:17

Dear Support,

I'm quite new to the quick DMX app.
I have it installed on Windows 10 computer. I created several scenes, the work as expected when loading these via
the load scene menu. In Live tab i created two pages and addes the Steps scenes to it.

Whatever I experimented these buttons do not actived the scene.
I installed Live Mobile on my samsung mobile as well as an iPad tablet.
On both activing the buttons work as expected.

What did I wrong on the Win10 computer.

Any help appriciated.

If we right understand:
- you can trigger the buttons in the tab "Live" (and play the scene) from the app "Live Mobile"
- you are not able to trigger the same buttons in the tab "Live" with your mouse
Could you please confirm ?

If such case, could you please post a video showing the problem ?

Dear Support,

Yes what you summarized is correct.

Having Sweetlight (Quick DMX) active on the Win10 computer, I can go to the
Steps tab. With the second button (from left) I open the map with of scene files.
When I click a scene (scex file) this scene is activated (lamps go on according to settings)

If I go to the tab "Live", select a page with buttons, then click with the mouse on the button of a scene,
and then check in the Editor - Steps - the scene is not activated.
But if In the Live screen right click on a button I get a menu, in the men I click on edit, the scene
is activated.

I have made buttons, one with a video file, second with an MP3 file, they work fine when clicking.

I have the same problem on a Laptop with windows 10. Bot have the latest updates installed.

I hope I made clear what I experienced.

Dear,

In the video where I clicked with the mouse left on a button in the Live window, nothing happened, which
i did verify bij going back to the editor, ther you see all slider were still on zero.
So the settings in the scene were not activated.

Again back in the live window when I clicked with the mouse right on a button, the scene is activated,
which you can see going back into the editor screen, now sliders of the fictures are as configured in the scene.

I hope it's now clear.

Please re-post the same video with the window "DMX bargraph" open.
Then we will be able to see what is really happening on the dmx outputs.

Thank you for this second video.
Again, everything looks normal.
The tab Steps is to create scenes ; it does not display the scenes selected in Live (unless you select the button menu "Edit" in Live).
You can read the name of the edited scene in Steps in the title bar.
