In Version 6 I could trigger a button via a keyboard at 4 or 5 at a time. In version 7 it's only allowing 2 buttons at a time.

We just checked under our Windows 7 64bits.
We are not able to reproduce the problem as well.

In order to know if this problem is exclusively on your computer, can you please try on another Windows computer ?

I have a 10 point touch PC Win 8.1 monitor that registers multiple touches on all kinds of software, including my on screen key board. I can even draw pictures on one multi touch screen and scroll Google earth on the other simultaneously. But ShowXpress? It will only register one touch. Multiple touches, while registering on the screen result in no response from ShowXpress. Even flash buttons require a double tap.
It is really quite frustrating that I have multiple 10 point multi touch monitors with my PC but ShowXpress can only handle one touch at a time. And still requires double taps for flash buttons.

Sorry, this is a keyboard trigger issue. While I still have monitor touch issues, I concur on the 2 keyboard trigger limit no matter what style of keyboard I use.

I am having the same issues only able to use two keyboard triggers at once using Windows 7/64 bit with SX 7.1.0
Midi triggering is fine though...

@gilsontech : Probably a hardware capability issue. Are you trying V6 and V7 on the same computer ? Are you trying the same keyboard shortcuts ? Some keyboards can not handle some keys at a time because of their internal matrix. This is also called the "keyboard ghosting" by the gamers :

I don't know about Gilsontech, but I do know the specs for my keyboards I use for SX. And I was very thorough in testing this. It is not a keyboard issue.

Upon further review with my Logitech wireless keyboards I can do 4 keystrokes simultaneously, consistently, and accurately on V7 via a USB 2.0 and 3.0 ports.
And I tried this on Win 7 64bit and Win 8.1 32bit.
