I've just installed the new version of the software on my 32 Bit Vista Laptop and now the previously functioning Auto BPM function does not work.
I have reinstalled the sound drivers already in case that was the issue, but the problem is still present.
I remember on the old versions that there was a DLL file called auto_bpm.DLL (or something like that) - I cannot find this file anywhere in the ShowXpress program directories now.
More specifically in the "Live" application I can turn the Auto BPM feature on and off, but no moving "bargraph" display showing music has been detected is shown.
Auto BPM function not working on 32 bit Vista
Re: Auto BPM function not working on 32 bit Vista
Hi,
There is no more auto_bpm.dll since a long.
Your problem seems to be a Windows Audio Mixer problem. Make sure the inputs are correctly activated in the "Recording Mixer".
