Fixture channels all labeled 1

I have a large number of channels to control dimmers for our architectural and stage lights. We have a house dimmer and stage dimmer fixture defined to hold those channels. In version 7 they were labeled numerically in order as they should be. In version 8 they are all labelled as channel 1. They do control the appropriate DMX channels regardless of that label of 1. I see these same results with a new version 8 install on a clean PC after copying the Lighting Controller folder over and with a upgrade over an existing install of version 7. What seems odd is that we have some movers defined that appear to have their channels specified correctly.
