Steps not saving

I tried to create a simple 6 step scene, changing LED Pars through the colors of the rainbow. I have made sure to deactivate any unused channels, and have even tried to save the scene between each change, but for some reason, when i run the scene, all but one or two show as blank. I have multiple effects that will be based off of this simple scene, and can't figure out what is wrong. Help!

Just a thought, do you have the DMX enabled in the Steps tab when you try to run your scenes in Buttons/Timeline tabs? If so, make sure it's off. I can't tell you many times I forget to turn it off in the Steps tab and try to run it in Buttons tab and nothing would run.
