Contest Sweetrack / Showtec Quick dmx rack

Postby Luc2366 » 06 September 2016, 08:27

Hello,

I just bought the Contest Sweetrack.
Do you have a manual available?
Do you have a video available that explain how the Sweetrack works?

If not:
1/ there are 16 buttons on the device, for 16 programs (chases).
But the Contest-website says 18. How can I go to those additional 2 programs?

2/ I push the button to activate the program and push it again to stop the program?
Does ending a program automaticaly mean that all fictures go to "black out" or do I have to program this command?

3/ Can the fixtures be run sound-to-light (how?) or can I only pre-program them with a fix speed?

4/ What's the maximum number of steps I can put in 1 program (chase) and what's the maximum number of steps/chases I can put in the device?

5/ Can I run 2 or more programs at the same time? If so, how will the fixtures react that were being programmed in both programs?

Kind regards

There is no manual for this interface.
There is a short explaination for the tab "StandAlone" in the manual.

The details of this interface are here: viewtopic.php?f=57&t=4174

1. This interface is able to play up to 16 scenes (not 18).

2. First button press switches on, second button press switches off.
No running scene means all dmx values are 0.

3. There is no sound to light function. All scenes have a fixed speed.

4. viewtopic.php?f=75&t=4578

5. It is possible to run up to 4 scenes simultaneously (4 zones).
In case of same channels are activated, the last button overrides the others.

Thanks for the info!

We were able to get everything up and running.

Sound-to-light function would make the unit even better ;)
