Support:
So I have every current beta file loaded on my:
Gateway ZX4250
Win 7 Home Premium 64 bit
AMD E-300
Radon HD Graphics 1.30 GHz
And a second monitor through a USB adapter
The first thing I've observed is that Macros have a lag of a second or so from being clicked to engaging. But scene buttons on their own are instantaneous as I am used to.
Do you think this is my system? Or the fact that many of my macro buttons are activating several dozen or more scene buttons at a time and some buttons have up to 30 presets?
However all worked fine on the beta releases early this month. This problem presented once I had installed the current Beta releases available.

Re: Macro Lag
Update:
Macros with few scene buttons and just fade up fade down functions aren't lagging.
Still the way I use Macros and Preset Scene buttons for control over individual fixtures behaviours, I can project a time when I'll be activating 50-100 scene buttons that have preset information, fade in/out information, pause and/or no loop information. And potentially button speed info, because that was a feature I asked about earlier today.

Re: Macro Lag
I noticed a similar lag, but it seems to be when using the 3d visualizer while checking programs.
I am not using many macros, but have lots of buttons and lots of images on them.
Similar setup, and all latest beta updates too.

Re: Macro Lag
I found it to happen with or without 3D imager up.

I wonder what eedetail has experienced. But for me I consider this fixed. Thanks.by eedetail » 18 December 2012, 13:03
