DMX addressing in pixel mode

Postby Somenice » 20 November 2013, 14:47

Hi there- I am trying to set up some blizzard hot sticks in pixel mode. The DMX addressing is set up as follows:

Sorry for lousy quality, but you can see the pixels start at channel 8, with a R/G/B taking up one channcel each for the 9 LED's.

When adding this fixture to pixels, how I do set up the DMX addressing? What is the starting address? Do I set it up as a fixture with 9 pixels, or 27?

Any other information on how to set up this fixture is appreciated.

Thanks!

We made the profile for you here: http://download.thelightingcontroller.c ... or_Pixels/
Please see below picture for more infos.
So far, channel 1 must be on, and channels 2, 3, 4 off. And we think channels 5, 6, 7 must be off (to check).

Thanks. Can I trouble you to make the profile for the 16 channel version? The DMX addressing can be found here. And please let me know if the set-up would be different in 16 vs 34 channel mode- I want to try each and see which gets the desired result.

Thanks!

The 16ch profile is done.
However, we suggest you to use the 34ch profile.
