Do we have to run this through the downloaded version of control board or can I use this with the previous version I had installed?

Do not merge old and new version together.
Simply rename the folder of your existing version (add for instance "_old" at the end of the folder name). And extract the new software from the DMG file. Then you can run either the new ControlBoard, or the old ControlBoard, with your current lightshow.

Pixels is presently for "low res" leds applications.

Our software is presently able to drive up to 6 dmx interfaces, which means 3072 dmx channels.
If the fixtures have RGB leds (3 channels), our software can theoretically* drive up to 3072 / 3 = 1024 RGB leds.

* we never tested yet with 6 universes. We made a show in Ldi in October with 2 universes (24 bars of 12 rgb leds each), and it worked great.

Just downloaded 6.29 and installed it in sweetlight_pixels map in program files. I started Control Board but can't find the program Pixels?

V6.29 is official version ; it does not have Pixels.
Pixels is in version 6.30beta1 (in folder "beta").

Oui, c'est le but : chaque point RVB est géré séparément.
Les appareils pour Pixels doivent effectivement être créés depuis Pixels (les appareils dans Setup ne sont pas pour Pixels).
