Show Xpress abruptly quits when i use it with live mobile after several program changes.


2014 fully loaded macbook pro running el cap 10.11.6 and showxpress (latest version downloaded from this forum)
htc one phone running 4.4.2
connected via router

Please post a download link of your lightshow.

The folders of your lightshow are corrupted.
All folders are doubled with a capital and a normal first character (like for instance "Generator" and "generator").
Please watch our demo lighthow, and change the names of the folders like they are in the demo lightshow, and remove the other folders.

I'm not seeing the extra folders in the first folder
I have looked on a mac and windows.

compared to the demo the file count is 1 more

it might be easier if you correct the folder and re post it back, then I can see the difference.

So this might be due to the way you sent the files.
Please try again like this:
- first make a zip file of the entire lightshow folder
- then post the zip file via Dropbox

Looks like this issue causes the application to crash when I try to open the window to edit midi sliders

i have a show tonight and i'd rather not use the pearl tiger for a club night.

I though i might rebuild the document by moving parts over a few at a time to see what might be causing the issue.

i copied "fixtures midi inputs" and it crashed when i opened it the window. then i deleted the file the window opened ok - ill have to re-set the midi sliders
i will see if the mobile app works ok this eve

live app still crashes show xpress

We are not able to crash the software by using the app, with your lightshow.
There should be something special to do.
Please post a video showing the crash.
