Beta_Debug version crashed again yesterday (after I left)... where do I find the log supposedly put out by this Debug version?

At crash time, the debug executable should open a window with information about the crash

This is Apple's crash reports, but before that TLC is supposed to open its own window showing the crash line of code etc.

So, from Apple's crash report, we can see that your working environment is: Mac Mini M1 (using Resetta to emulate X86 CPU) and the crash is on threads functions.
Could you please send us your LightShow and tell us if and how we can use "Companion" and what to do on your LightShow to have a chance to see the crash.

No other screen comes up when it crashes, and we don't have to be doing anything, and typically aren't doing anything when it crashes, 9 out of 10 times at least the house lights will be on, but lately we'd be in Message mode.

My light show has Macros in top left corner that sets "scenes", House lights (there are several buttons, each just with different fader levels for each "scene")... it's pretty self explanatory, except "Worship" Macro - it doesn't select any of the "Color" scenes those are activated by the StreamDeck "Worship x" buttons...

I can't attach a full ZIP of my Lightshow folder (it's too big even zipped 239Kb - "The file is too big, maximum allowed size is 150 KiB.", so I've split "scenes" out of it (scenes zipped is 147Kb) after unzipping both, drop scenes folder into Lightshow folder), and a full export of Companion (2.4.1). The 1st page is the main Home page; bottom row enables/disables the Instances/Connections - you'll really only need to enable the "DMX" connection.

Anyway, let me know if anything doesn't make sense...

We received and installed your LightShow and were able to launch Companion with your setup on a Mac M1. We'll see if we can reproduce the crashes.
In order to have exactly the same configuration as you, can you also send us your "param.ini" file?

Looking at your param.ini file, we suggest that you leave the default values for the following parameters:
- "Software refresh rate": High
- "USB nap speed": Medium (or Low)
- “Software IP”: 127.0.0.1
Another thing we have seen is that at least one (hidden) scene like "Movers (Power) w/Off Delay", triggered by macros, never goes off because it has a forced fade out time of several thousand seconds: is this desired ?
Either way, we'll let your LightShow run to see if we reproduce any crashes.

I have made the suggested changes.

We've had weird issues with our Z7 movers, which when I came onboard were being left powered up 24x7. So the Macros & hidden scene you refer to, is designed to turn on DMX controlled outlet/s that power the Z7s, and the 30-minute fade-out delay is to prevent them from being powered on and off too frequently which might further shorten their lifespan.

Thanks!
