Hmm. Upgrades.

Postby dkumpula » 23 September 2011, 14:18

Hey Folks! After nearly a year of upgrades and experimenting in my home environment, I have nearly completed the next phase of construction and installation. Features of my lighting obsession include a new bar room extension with integrated lighting, 21 inset niches for MinSpots and such, lots of independently DMX controlled LED lightstrips, a second ShowXpress universe, 40 Amps of available power, several fixture upgrades, and of course prolific use of ShowXpress' continued upgrades. After painfully reprogramming and expanding my lightshows, I believe things are coming together as planned.

Attached is the first video I've done in quite a while that demonstrates some of the new integrated devices in the room. Comments and suggestions are always welcome. The video is available on YouTube in HD below.

That is awesome! Thank you for sharing.

(I must admit I am rather jealous of your rig!)

[edit to add] Out of interest what sound system do you have in there?

Thank you for the kind words, all. Better examples (hopefully) of the room to follow. Maybe a laser show or light show recorded in 3D would be fun.
