BPM not working

BPM is not working properly for me. I have used it for a while and it has worked fine, but now it's giving me problems. The sound bars are barely registering where you click Auto BPM in LIve. I have increased my system volume to the max, and I have made sure that the scene has auto BPM marked. I have it on 1, which I believe is the most sensitive setting.I'm running Windows 7. Please let me know how to remedy this.
