Footbllplyr19 ?

Is the Nucleus as good as it looks in the videos ? Seriously tempted once show funds arrive.

Reallly interested in knowing if the resolution on the mirros are good ? Current scanners have jerky movements, is this smooth in Sweetlight/ Showexpress ?

Ta,

Lee.

I just wish they would do a better job of combining the Red, Green and Blue instead of the beam separation between them. It looks a lot like the Tri Phase. I have 2 and like them for that type of affect.

SO the lovely purples etc on the demo video are due to the video lense capture and not a true representation of the light ?

From what your talking about they sound like the seperation you get from Dekkers ?

What about the mirror smoothness in movement when using Sweetlight ?

Cheers,

Lee

I should be receiving mine this week sometime. I have to do a show this weekend for a skate meet, so not sure how it will work yet. But once I get it, I'll let you know how it does. I'm kind of excited to get it! I think it should do what I need it to do!

It wasn't nearly as cool as it looked on the video, it's not as bright or anything. It kind of sucks, wish I didn't spend the money on it, thankfully, it was an ebay purchase. I just need to find a new center piece now for my venue. Any suggestions? Its a 16 foot high ceiling in the middle of 300 foot long and 120 feet wide venue.

I'm new to the boards, so sorry for this late reply. However, I still wanted to comment anyway...

When I got my ADJ Nucleus (not pro) and turned it on for the first time, I too was underwhelmed by how it looked. However, the first time I ran it WITH FOG, then I was like, okay, this is actually pretty cool after all. Was it still kind of expensive to me? Yes. But with the fog, I felt like the price wasn't so bad after all.

So my one little bit of humble advice is that if you are going to get a fixture like this one, make sure you have a fog machine to run with it - It makes a world of difference.
