American DJ - Nucleus

Post by paulgormley »

Hi,

I could use a profile for this fixture: http://www.americandj.com/ProductDetail ... txtSearch=

Users manual is here: http://www.americandj.com/pdffiles/nucleus_led.pdf

I have built profiles before, but I do not know how to build 3D fixtures to match the unit. I hope that is possible, it will be hard to do live. Much better with 3D.

Thanks,

Sorry but 3DView is not able to natively manage multi-pan&tilt fixtures.
However, there is a workaround:
- set the Nucleus fixture to "18 channels mode"
- in Setup, declare 6 fixtures of 3 channels each, like this:

dmx address - fixture - channel
_____ 1 _______ 1______ pan
_____ 2 _______ 1______ tilt
_____ 3 _______ 1______ color
_____ 4 _______ 2______ pan
_____ 5 _______ 2______ tilt
_____ 6 _______ 2______ color
_____ 7 _______ 3______ pan
_____ 8 _______ 3______ tilt
_____ 9 _______ 3______ color
...
_____ 18_______ 6______ color

can he use 6 scanners and be able t see them in the 3d room make them all 3 chanel and address them in a row dmx 1-18 or add another 2 ch at the end of the last scanner for control...that way you can lay them in the room in the shape of your fixture as you can adjust and rotate them in the room and you can see them move and light up it will just be one beam of light depending on how you set it up but I think it will work the best
