Chauvet Intimidator 1.0 - master/slave with software?

Hello,

I have two chauvet intimidator 1.0s and I want them to run Master-slave while being controlled by my showxpress software. How should this be setup?

Set both of the fixtures to the same DMX address.

I did but there's a problem. When I set the fixtures to "sound active" mode through the software they act independently. If I were to just use the fixtures by themselves WITHOUT software and used a DMX cable to link the two lights, the scanners would act as one "unit"---they talk to each other and move accordingly. When I set the fixtures to the same dmx address and then set the lights on sound active mode through the software the lights do NOT talk to each other----they act separately.

any way to fix this?

Sorry, I have no experience with your fixtures. I can't suggest how to achieve this effect, other than suggesting programming a scene that looks as though it is sound to light.
